As you read last newsletter, I’ve been rather occupied with the new member of our family. We also moved house. It’s been an interesting lockdown. I hope you have been keeping well!<\/p>\n

Despite the business, I’ve kept an ear to the ground on Israel issues; mainly though our\u00a0curated news feed<\/a>. Some of the main stories are captured below in the briefing and selected recent news. However, there are two items that I wanted to elaborate a little on here.<\/p>\n

The first is the ongoing Arab Palestinian terrorism. Two weeks ago\u00a0Amit Ben-Ygal,\u00a0a 21 year old Israeli soldier, was\u00a0murdered by a Palestinian<\/a>\u00a0who threw a rock at him. And this week there have been\u00a0at least two attempted attacks in Jerusalem<\/a>. As is sadly usual, Hamas and other terror groups praised the “operations”.<\/p>\n

The reason I raise ongoing attacks is because we know that many of them are incited by Arab Palestinian leaders. Even the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) expressed concern about the\u00a0“the existence of hate speech in certain media outlets, especially those controlled by Hamas, social media, public officials\u2019 statements and school curricula and textbooks, which fuels hatred and may incite violence”<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Which brings me to the second issue. Despite\u00a0our report last year<\/a>\u00a0showing that:<\/p>\n
